Really loving the look of the armors in this game.

agreed the armor in this game actually looks realistic. female armor is actual armor.. none of this "bikini bra" crap that magically blocks great swords. lolol 

yes elves and magic.. pixies and gnomes .. dragons and orcs. All fine and dandy but oh no if the armor isnt realistic thats just going to far.

Not sure why people try to find "realism" in a fantasy, blantantly unrealistic game.

Think a better term is 'structure'. Fantasy creatures, armor, equipment, etc all needs to play together to make a world concept that's cohesive and believable.

Fantasy armor tends to be a chink in that concept. Any excuse to justify it tends to be left as just that, an excuse.

Like the enchanted armors excuse ends up having three separate issues of it's own that relate to the way armor and combat would have to play out if they wanted to maintain a cohesive world concept.

More or less it's just a thing that tickles some people's pickle, so they roll with it. Fact is though even a modicum of thought will see it as introducing a hole in the world that makes it much more apparently 'fake' and considerably less immersive.
