there won't be third person perspective. Whole point of the design is that everybody sees the say way - from the eyes of your character.

If they had a third person option then anyone who used it would get a massive advantage over people who didn't.

@Ixigan: Actually while mounted you are in third person. This might change later but for now it's in the game, however certain actions while mounted (like using a weapon) will put you back into first person.

@hidden1: I agree with you there, I followed DF awhile back until I saw Mortal Online, it has the promise of having more polish both graphically and game play wise. However that can be said about so many disapointing MMOs over the years. I hope they take there time to do it right and not rush it, it would be nice to see an indie company release a stable and polished MMO (note I said stable not rock solid as that's almost asking too much these days. :-p)

Screenshots really don't do the game justice. The trailer they have on the website is amazing. It also has perhaps the most natural looking walking animation I've seen period.
