You say TV. That most likely means that your TV is a 1080p screen. That means that your TV, even though it is 80", is displaying a resolution of 1920x1080. The size of the screen doesn't matter. Having a larger screen does not increase the resolution, unless you have your computer set to send a larger resolution to the TV.
The catch is that TVs rarely support larger resolutions, but that's cool if you can beyond 1080p.
You will be forced to scroll side to side unless you have the width that is necessary to view the image in full screen.
