happened to me as well, but knew right away it was a driver issues + AA  . Most of the nvidia cards work good with dx10 with the 178.XX, pretty much for a lot of games. I am switching to ATI as well, cause I ordered a crossfire mobo :D

And this is why I switched from ATI to Nvidia.  Not bad cards, really...  Just not supported by many games as well as the Nvidia equivalent.
