wow that looks like a dead ship there are no people on it... O_O after watching ST/NG/DS9/V and many other versions of it.... that just looks empty O_o i would think they would have added random npc sprites to give it the feel of an actually living ship instead of a costly coffin

Well it looks dead, because there is no functionality or any reason to be on the bridge.

It's just a pointless room. Nothing more.

Yeah they slapped the bridge into the game at the last minute because so many people complained that there wasn't one. It serves absolutely no purpose at the moment though. IMO it should be the focal point during warp flight between systems instead of that asinine blue map overlay junk that just completely destroys any sense of immersion... It looks pretty though, I guess that's something.

I think the game lacks the immersion a roleplaying game needs.

Pretty much that. The klingon bridges actually have federation crew at the moment lol. Will be interesting to see what they do with them later though, assuming they follow through with their interest in expanding the usefulness of it and adding other areas (engineering etc) when they actually have time. Basically they had the choice of "pretty ship interiors you can play house tour in" or "Actual gameplay and missions" and they fortunately went with the ladder.
