Ok I admit they are not AoC graphics but you have to take in account when there is 100's fighting for a city you would have FPS issues. Also take into account the view distance in this game is huge.

hell on rising force online weve had around 100 people fighting in chip wars with 20x times better graphics then this and fps is just fine and lag free so fail and once again il add another fail to it

It's not so ugly that it's unplayable. I used to play CoH back in that day and on the crap pc I had, it looked worse then this. I'm not a fanboi of darkfall. Yeah, I want to play it, but from what I heard about just shooting missles in the air to level magic and how the difference in skill power is only increased on the quarter numbers, I think I'll pass for a while.

To be honest if you have questions on Magic ask me ;) I leveled up to the elemantal class ( fire magic in this case ) most people who say magic does not change has not leveled it up at all.

Take mana missile for example. Mana missile changes every 25 levels. 1 - 24 low splash damage one ball animation soon as you hit 25 it changes the splash effect is large dps goes up a little and the animation chages.

However if you have a noobie staff you will notice no change in DPS it multiplies with the staff this is what almost all beta testers failed on and I have corrected them a few times in the Darkfall forums.

As for the leveling by shooting in the air you are right on this I hope they change it but to be honest you can not level magic just by shooting in the air. You need regants and lots of them unless your guild supports you then you will get no where. I used up around 20,000 regants in beta pretty much.

I am also not sure if there is some kind of nerf on shooting at nothing because I did not macro and was the 1st few to get to elemental. And this was done mainly off PvP ( Poor Elves :P ).

I think it would better if spells/skills increased over every intenger number to 100 or even at points between levels.
