Digirono writes: Since i'm playing a char that uses Light Armor also, is that the Exalted coat/pants, if not what is it? Wed Sep 19 2012 2:11AM Report
gaeanprayer writes: That is indeed the full Exalted set, though I switched out the skin of the shoulder armor for something else I liked better. The Staff is the level 80 exotic for Artificer, the Pearl Staff, but the skin was switched out for the Ebon Hawke cultural staff. Wed Sep 19 2012 3:06AM Report
gaeanprayer writes: Also for those curious, this set cost me about 4g to make (which is nothing), including the orichalcum for the staff. 100%'ing Frostgorge Sounds gives 40 gossamer which is about half of what you need (+40ish silver), the rest can be purchased for a reasonable sum or just shred your own stuff. 5 ectos a piece = 30, and you get up to 3 ectos per piece of 65+ gold or higher tier equipment that you disenchant (plus other materials that can then be sold to make money back, which I did often). Gossamer thread comes from the npc and is cheap. Ancient bones are currently very cheap as well. A stack of 50 cost me 10 silver, though you only need a few per piece. I bought a bunch more for the hell of it :3 Wed Sep 19 2012 3:10AM Report

ironhelix writes: Yeah, this is not representative of what a normal player can do. I hate when people with no responsibities in life come here to tell eveyone else that you can run a character to 80 in 4 hours, because that's about the amout of time a REAL human being with a job and family has to put into a video game. gaeanprayer writes: LOL Spare me ironhelix. I work, I'm the primary caretaker of my household, and I'm a full time college student. This is a few hours a day playtime, not including most of last week since I had finals. This is every bit indicative of what a normal person can do. And by the way, this screenshot and the comments had NOTHING TO DO WITH BEING LEVEL 80. Reading comprehension ftw. This was about making exotic level 80 GEAR. Exotic is the creme de la creme, something people were bitching about having to grind tons and tons for because the karma/token versions take a long time to get. The point was you can craft yourself some, which takes much less time and effort, and ignore the other kinds (which are the same stats, just different skin) if you're not into that kind of thing. Meaning, Anet did exactly what they said, offered the grind for those who want it, but gave them only a change of skin as a benefit. Wed Sep 19 2012 7:49PM Report
gaeanprayer writes: Also, getting to level 80 took me about 1.5 weeks, the two days is how long it took me to 100% some maps for the money/materials it took to create the gear set, nothing else. Are we all getting it now or shall I draw a map? Wed Sep 19 2012 7:52PM Report

Love your point :^)

And honestly , as I said in on thread, if  you dont want to grind dont play MMOs/games that involve loot or levels. There will always be a grind, always..other wise whats the point.

The people that complain about a grind just want the loot handed to them imo. I have played games that are exsesive/y grindy games, but those are usually asian in orgin...for the most part

enywho armor looks awsome, i cant wait to grind my way to a satisfiying set too!
