I don't play WoW, but I think it's so sad that people really feel they need a DPS gauge.

The DPS meter used to be a way to compare their epeens with everyone and shout it over chat. Lately, however, with the constant changes to the classes the DPS meter has just become a way to test out the best rotation as everyone is still learning a lot of the changes. 

Pre-Cataclysm, DPS meters really helped me learn how to maximize damage.  Without them I had no way of knowing how much I was contributing to the group.  I'm not sure I would care to have that add-on if I were a tank or healer.

Would you be so kind to inform me of more abilities that I should be using purely for PvE purposes?

A game full of people who can live a second life without being judged on how they look. Which is most likely fat diabetics with more health problems than an aids patient. sad really.....my best friend plays this shit none stop. He's gained an easy 80lbs since 2004 the year this game launched. I can't stand playing it simply because I am annoyed on how incredibly nerdy these people are. And how cool they think they are because they play all day every day while collecting ssi checks. sad sad sad

I personally felt the whole DPS meter/rotation/gear score bullshit ruined the game for me.
