Orcs Must Die! Unchained has been updated with the open beta v1.6 patch. In it, several large systems have been overhauled including the UI, visual effect, all heroes updated and upgrades to physics traps. In addition, new battlegrounds have been added as well as 'classic' maps have been reworked.
- Faster and More Furious - Faster hero speeds, squishier minions, bigger physics - the classic OMD feeling has never looked and felt quite so glorious.
- Every Hero Rebuilt for Survival - Never again will players fear that their favorite hero can't keep up in Survival Mode. Every hero in the game has been rebalanced for Survival, giving players tons of hero combination options.
- All New Map Structure - There's a whole new way to play through your favorite Battlegrounds in OMDU's new difficulty tiers. Players must prove their worth before moving up to the next big challenge.
- New Prologue -All new players will start with a brief campaign to get them started with all the OMD knowledge they'll need to bust heads in the Survival Battlegrounds.
