During the Tokyo Game Show, Eurogamer interviewed Sony  president Shuhei Yoshida about the release of No Man's Sky and its possible impact on Sony. While shrugging off the game's rocky start as not having much of an effect overall on Sony, Yoshida did indicate that the game was fun but that criticism of Hello Games and Sean Murray specifically is warranted. Without a public relations person assisting Murray, the situation was not a "great PR strategy".

While personally enjoying the game, Yoshida felt that No Man's Sky over promised and under delivered Criticism and community outcry was justified.

"I understand some of the criticisms especially Sean Murray is getting, because he sounded like he was promising more features in the game from day one.

"It wasn't a great PR strategy, because he didn't have a PR person helping him, and in the end he is an indie developer. But he says their plan is to continue to develop No Man's Sky features and such, and I'm looking forward to continuing to play the game."

What do you think of Yoshida's words?
