Tibia : Fraud Email Warning

Our friends over at Tibia are warning their users about fraudulent emails being sent by someone in an attempted to acquire user account data. This kind of scam is not unheard of in the MMORPG industry, and the CipSOFT team is doing their best to steer their players away from potential fraud.

Once more we would like to remind you to be extremely wary about hacking attempts. Currently, many players are receiving an email in which they were asked to "re-configure". Another example are emails with the title "recovery key", "review" or "update". The email contains a link that leads to a webpage on which visitors are asked to enter their account data. Needless to say, this email was not sent by us. Please be extremely careful about emails that contain links, especially if they lead onto pages on which you are asked to enter your account number or your password. If you would like to enter the official website, we strongly recommend you manually type www.tibia.com. For further information on how to protect your account please have a look at our security hints. If you follow these guidelines, your account should be well protected. Kind regards, |

Tibia was my first MMORPG.
I loved it. But when I knew mu knight, and others... I forget what's a RPG.
When you know many things, the game lose the fun. It was very good when I don't knew what's a noob. I guessed the game the best. It has all things of I can to imagine. I call every thing of a shield, a helmet, an armour, a leg, and a boot. The game was the best, but I knew the www.tibiabr.com , a site of tibia in portuguese, of speak about all things por exemple: monsters (hp, atk, what has), the weaponts (atk, def, weight, and what monsters have), all foods (where found), all classes(knight, paladin, druid, and sorcerer), all maps, all quests, and others...
The game don't have many updates. But it is very good.
