Runewaker's new Action MMORPG, Guardians of Ember, is being published by Insel Games and will be launching into Steam Early Access (for 3-5 months of EA) this September. The game will be familiar to Diablo fans, but will be a full-on MMORPG with housing, crafting, and more.
We've put the teaser trailer below, and the game will launch on Steam's Early Access program with 4 races, 6 classes, and two of the five planned "acts" localized and ready for testing. Players can opt into a dual-class system after level 15, and there are hundreds of quests and fully randomized dungeons across 58 distinct world regions to play in. We've reached out to Insel Games for an interview, as Guardians of Ember basically seems to have come from nowhere.
We know it's going to be a "Buy to Play" game for Early Access, but we don't know if it'll become F2P at official launch, whether Early Access progression will be wiped, and so forth. For now, feast your eyes on the trailer and enjoy.
