Worlds Adrift:Lessons Learned Pay Off

Posted Mar 14, 2016 by Suzie Ford

Bossa Studios has published a new developer video about Worlds Adrift that covers much of the recent activity with regard to the game as well as how lessons learned in the past are beginning to pay off as all the disparate the pieces dove-tailing together to create something special.

It’s now possible to craft any shape of ship you want, rather than using the standard hull formats we had as placeholders. Creatures around islands take notice when you chop down a tree, and they don’t seem to like it very much. Flying manta rays hear the roar of nearby engines, and home onto them with the intention of making it stop. An explorer’s knowledge provides new crafting abilities and items to use. The male character finally makes an appearance. Flying a ship into a lightning storm proves quite a challenge to even the best of navigators… And so on.

Check it out and see what you think!
