ArenaNet has published an update to the official ANET blog detailing improvements players can expect to find in World vs. World content during this weekend's upcoming beta event. In addition, the team has also provided a full list of servers to be made available during the event.
On the WvW front, ArenaNet's Mike Ferguson notes that they will not be releasing the match results for WvW during the last beta weekend event due to the various issues that cropped up. Fortunately, BWE3 will see a number of improvements to the matchmaking system and ranking systems that should hopefully provide a better experience for players this time around.
If you've quickly looked over the new server list, you may also notice that it's significantly smaller than the BWE2 server list. This is a result of the additional hardware and improvements ArenaNet has made on the server-side of things since BWE2. With this event, there will be fewer, but more populated servers for gamers to play on. If you're concerned about full servers, fret not, even though the list of servers is smaller, ArenaNet will be ready to deploy new servers should the situation warrant it.
Check out the official ArenaNet blog for the full details and serverlist.
As a reminder, our official MMORPG.com guild is on Maguuma!
