The Voyage Century Online team has announced that new ship's figureheads have been introduced to the game based on Olympian gods. According to the dev team, the figureheads offer an additional customization option for ships as well as bonuses during battle.

The wide variety of figureheads available means there are ample opportunities to pick one up in game. There are two ways to go about this - creating one or capturing one. For those who tend to be more law-abiding, figureheads are available at Shipyards, and from some NPCs (usually in smaller cities). Now, for those who tend to take what they want in life, figurehead designs (drawings) can be picked up from BOSSes on the high seas or from sea battle instances. For those lucky enough to pick up an 'Advanced Figurehead Drawing', these can be inscribed with a name!

Figureheads can even earn experience like ship captains do. Long voyages, trading expeditions, adventures on the high seas and sea battles will all reward experience to the figurehead, which once accumulated, can be used to upgrade it.
