CipSoft has announced that its classic MMORPG, Tibia, will have a browser version released near the end of April. Tibia has been in live release since 1997. The Flash-enabled version of Tibia will bring the game to a whole new generation of players.

Tibia is a classical 2D fantasy MMORPG. It has been released as early as 1997 and therefore ranks among the first - and still online – MMORPGs in the world.1 Tibia’s very unique and classy graphics, in combination with a tactically demanding and tense playing atmosphere create a highly addictive game experience.

Tibia grants a unique freedom to its players and their preferred playing styles. It’s the players’choice and influence that decides where the game and its inhabitants are heading - towards a cooperative, mercantile and explorative society or towards a bunch of martial, competitive and aggressive warmongers.
