Club Penguin : Players to Donate to Charity

Posted Dec 14, 2010 by Suzie Ford

From December 17th-27th, Club Penguin players are being given the opportunity to donate virtual coins earned through playing mini-games. Players will be able to select the charity to which they'd like to donate and after the event ends, Disney will divide a million dollars between Warchild, Free the Children, Wildlife Conservation Network, Partners in Health, Children’s Surgical Centre, and Rare. Last year, players donated over four billion virtual coins.

Over 2.9 million Club Penguin players took part in the event last year and donated four billion in-game coins to different causes.
