Hi-Rez Studios has announced that their spy-fi MMOFPS, Global Agenda, is now live!
Global Agenda features co-op and competitive multiplayer features as part of a one time purchase of the game. Alternatively, players can opt for a more MMOG like experience by subscribing to Global Agenda: Conquest, which allows players to get involved in the territory control aspect of the game in a persistent game world.
Non-subscribers can still enjoy much of the game, including leveling up up to eight characters to the level cap as well as the aforementioned competitive and co-op PvP missions.
Conquest subscribers can form their own Agencies (guilds), which are capable of building new facilities and vehicles, raiding bases, and of course, conquer territory.
Players who purchase Global Agenda will be able to preview the Conquest mode free of charge until March 3rd, 2010.
Visit the official Global Agenda website for more information on the game.
This on PS3?
I was just wondering, if you don't subscribe can you still enter an agencie? And if so, can you participate in all of the features?
no, PC only.
Been playing this game for about a week now and so far I'm mixed on how I feel. The main thing I do not like is that its 3rd person and the aiming reticle is very large. The game itself is pretty fun but needs tweaking. It sucks going into an instance with a group of 4 and having 3 of your teammates be rogues. Nothing like having 3/4 of your team rush in stealth mode past the hard fights then yelling at you when you keep dieing trying to fight the whole instance by yourself. Doesn't happen a lot but the amount of people that roll stealthers are too many. They need limits somehow on classes that are allowed to jump into the queues.
The game really only has 5 things to do. Crafting, PVE fights with 3 teammates, PVP objective areas like TF2 levels, Conquest and Arena. Crafting is near impossible at low levels as the drop rates for the materials gets you about 4 to 10 levels a week at the most, (out of 200 total). PVE is very repetitive but the areas you play in do shift around with different paths on different plays through the same areas so that helps a little. Arena is a practice area so its not worth any points, but insta respawn pvp to practice your skills is fun. If you want a pc game that feels like a console game you will love this one but I'm already getting tired of it after a week. If over half the shops weren't boarded up in the hub because the devs decided not to finish the game before release I might feel a little better about this game....
