Heroes of Gaia is a browser-based fantasy MMORPG with strategy elements. A great war has decimated the land and population, and the future of the kingdoms are up to you. Choose one of four traditional races - Humans, Orcs, Elves, or Undead, and create your people and your castle. Your castle can't be sacked and overtaken by your enemies, so it's always a safe place. The game runs in Flash and plays like a mix of traditional RPG with RTS. Goals are to fight monsters and evil alike by building armies, advancing the skills of your heroes, gathering resources, constructing buildings and conducting research, conquest, and diplomacy. Skills available for your heroes include mining, sorcery, foresting, and bonuses to production. Battles take place against NPC mobs or other players, as PKing is allowed on the field.

The game is free to play in its basic form, but there are several paid options available. Optional monthly subscriptions give a host of benefits, and work across all of Snail Game's titles. Another option is buying in-game gold and gems by themselves.
