CitiesXL : In-Depth Walkthrough Video #1

The first entry in a new video walkthrough series for Monte Cristo's upcoming city-building MMOG, CitiesXl, is now available. The video covers the incredibly impressive breadth of features and options available to city building aficionados who pick up the game in some pretty specific detail.

Cities XL is being touted as allowing players to create the city of their dreams, "be it a financial metropolis, or a pretty little agricultural backwater". Along with the many tools the game provides for building your dream city, the game will also provide a pretty insane amount of information at your finger tips on all aspects of your city, including tables and panels that provide a wealth of information on statistics such as unemployment rates, satisfaction levels, an in-depth breakdown of your taxes, analysis of your expenditures, and more.
There is even a trade panel that shows the city's resources and surpluses, represented in the form of tokens, which can be used to trade with other players if you subscribe to the game through the "Planet Offer". What is most interesting about this video is with all the information presented, it mostly covers the more basic "single player" elements of the game, and only barely touches on the massively multiplayer aspect, which will be covered in greater detail in the next walkthrough video.
