CrimeCraft : New Content, Tournament Announced

Posted Sep 14, 2009 by Michael Bitton

A new tournament and some details on upcoming new content for CrimeCraft has been revealed in an announcement released today by Vogster Entertainment.

The "Most Wanted" tournament will run from September 15th through October 15th, and will enter all players on the PvP Leaderboard into a weighted random drawing with the top prize being an Alienware Area 51 M17x laptop, an ATI 3870 X2 for the second runner up, and CrimeCraft swag for the remaining third, fourth, and fifth runners up.

As for new content, CrimeCraft will be getting a new PvE mode that puts players up against AI gang bosses across 14 maps, a new PvP loot system, an in-game newspaper that will feature the exploits of the game's most notorious inhabitants, and billboards featuring the top players of the "Most Wanted" contest. This update is scheduled to hit live servers sometime this October.

For more information on CrimeCraft head on over to the game's official website here.

Always nice to suggest that a developer should stop supporting a game three weeks after release, because "no one plays it"

They have two months to add content before no one really plays it.  This is a good start.

The game should have been called Crime Strike.   It is more like counter strike then any mmo using "Craft" in its tittle.   Actually better than counter strike and if they would have marketed to that audience instead of misleading customers  thinking they are dumb enough to buy anything with "Craft" in its tittle,  They might have done well.  Who knows.

I dont see this game go through it's first year.  Like most peoples said, why play this when there is so many better alternative out there ?  I dont get why devs makes game based on popular fps but yet makes it so crappy and expect peoples to pay a montly fee over that ?

If your going to make a FPS based MMO, it better be AT LEAST as good as a regular FPS.  And if your going to ask for a monthly fee you better have content, right now this game has NONE of that.

Saying they will add content is funny, mmo's are all about content being added.

This game is horrible. I uninstalled it an hour after getting into the beta a few months ago.

It's not even an MMO. It's a half assed shooter with barebone rpg elements. Why it's listed on here is beyond me.

After logging into the open beta with my pre-order I unistalled the game in under 20 minutes!

It seemed that the developers wanted to make their game diffrent from everyone else. They chose to make the UI and controls unlike those of any other FPS/MMO I've ever played. Trying to interact with any aspect of the game using the horrible UI was like its very own masochistic minigame.

The only crime here is that they are still marketing this game.
