Angels Online: Plan a Wedding Today!

In Angels Online (http://ao.igg.com), players enjoy their doll-like characters and engaging social features, particularly the unique marriage system. If you and your in-game sweetheart are ready to tie the knot, here’s a primer for those looking forward to an unforgettable wedding day.

Both male and female characters can visit the Marriage Angel in the Angel Lyceum to begin their quests, but each will follow a different path. Boys will be sent to the Cactus Plain to retrieve a Star Soul. Girls will be sent to the Mysterious Garden to find a Dewy Flower. Helping the flower will be rewarded with a Dew Drop, which can be exchanged for a Dew Crystal from the Marriage Angel. Once the girl gives her Dew Crystal to the boy, he can turn it in to the Marriage Angel along with his Star Soul. Then the wedding can proceed in earnest.

The couple can choose between a simple wedding and a luxurious one. Whatever type they choose, the players can invite all their friends to attend the festivities. In a simple wedding, they will visit the Newbie Priest to the left side of the Angel Church. All the basics are included as they enjoy their romantic wedding song at the holy altar. For those looking for an extravagant event, the priest can preside over a luxurious wedding featuring a wealth of items and buffs for the bride, groom, and their assembled guests. Among these is the Michael’s Blessing buff granted to all participating players, increasing HP by 300, MP by 250, and melee and spell attacks by 10%, as well as decreasing melee and spell damage suffered by 10% for two hours.

Whether they host a quiet ceremony or a grand celebration, at the end of the wedding the newlyweds will receive a pair of Angel Rings from the priest, enabling them to teleport to each other. The couple will also benefit from additional married-player perks. In Angels Online, the magic of love can do wondrous things. Are you ready to walk down the aisle?
