Pirates of the Burning Sea : Beat Them at Their Own Game

Posted Apr 09, 2009 by Keith Cross

Flying Lab Software has challenged players to face off against the devs while they test the Skirmish System in Pirates of the Burning Sea. If players pull off the win, they'll be rewarded with a Beat Them at Their Own Game title.

We’re rather good at playing Pirates of the Burning Sea here at Flying Lab Software… or at least we think we are. That’s why we’re challenging you, our beloved players, to a battle of skill and cunning using the new skirmish system!

On Monday April 13th at 3pm Pacific / 11pm British Summer Time, we will be gathering our forces on Testbed. If you dare face us, make sure you’re online by 2.45pm so we can level you up as needed, and give you instructions.

The battle will be strictly limited to 24 players, so if you’re late you are very unlikely to get in. If that happens, we encourage you to create your own skirmishes. Skirmish battles is great fun even without our magnificent participation.

If you are able to miraculously beat us, we will reward your valiant efforts with the title Beat Them at Their Own Game in the live game when 1.14 arrives.

If you fail, then we win cake. That is no lie.

We look forward to seeing you there, and may the best devs win!
