Uforia has announced that their new MMORPG Three Kingdoms: The Battle Begins will officially launch today with the opening of the game's cash shop.
Redwood City, Calif. - March 16, 2009 - Uforia, Inc., a new online game publisher specializing in massively multiplayer online games, today announced that its new MMO Three Kingdoms: The Battle Begins will officially launch with the opening of its cash shop at 8 PM Pacific Standard Time today at http://threekingdoms.uforia.com/intro.aspx. Three Kingdoms: The Battle Begins is a new free-to-play MMO based on one of the most well-known Asian novels of all-time.
"Three Kingdoms: The Battle Begins has received a great response in just the few short weeks since we announced it and held some beta tests," said Mike Min, Game Operations Producer of Uforia. "Now we are inviting the community and fans and MMO players out there to come and enjoy the full Three Kingdoms: The Battle Begins experience."
Players who created a character during last week's Open Beta will be able to keep and play with that character. Many changes were also made to the PK balance system to make for more even game play.
Starting on Tuesday and available to Three Kingdoms: The Battle Begins players, there will be monsters dropping special items. These items can then be traded to special NPCs available only for the commercial launch for great in-game prizes.

There is still a large number of people that can not even log into the game due to an error
on log in that makes the client say that it is currently under maint and to try again later,
only it never connects and you always get the same error.
Nice.. worry more about the cash shop, then players not evenbeing able to log into the game at all.
I wa sone of the lucky ones who could get in, but have heard of plenty who can't. Yet they worry about a cash shop?
Well it might have launched, but it most definitely is not working. Back to the drawing boards for the developers. Probably going to be a few patches before it is playable.
I have been trying to get in since closed beta, they didnt even acknowlege my emails or forums post until days after they switched to open. Their forum mods delete posts and move others to topics that are different. It is so frusterating being ignored when you are there to help them with their beta program and they treat you so rudly.
Why is anyone whining about the cash shop?
Uforia have not said anything on when it will be up, they most certainly are not directing all their attention on getting it up and running at the moment. Their main focus is fixing the patching and log in bugs.
Just because you didn't get a personalized PM from the GMs telling you they are working on it, doesn't mean they aren't .
Maybe you should bother to read the specific threads that address your exact problem and where they tell everyone they are working hard to find the source and fix it. You aren't the only one who has trouble logging in, just chill and wait till they figure out the problem. It's open beta, of course there will be people who have trouble with the game.
If it bothers you guys so much, find another game to play until the issue is resolved. Whining on a message board isn't going to get it fixed any faster.
This is a news forum to find out information on the game. So that is what I am doing, and had YOU read any of the posts concerning this matter, YOU would know that the was completly ignored for a good bit of time. No one expected a fix right of, but everyone involed that had the issue expected some type of response since their forum mods are nothing, but rude.
will officially launch today with the opening of the game's cash shop.
lol i guess we know what the most important aspect of the game is for them eh.
Now being a big fan of the Three Kingdom story I had to try this out. Netto, is is nothing but the same, cheap Asia grinder you have masses and masses from, just you fight for one of the three Kingdoms, Shu, Wu or Wei and thus have PVP of these three factions, which is a rare thing in a game of this kind. But its the same notorious, cheap grind you can expect. Only for the really die hard Three Kingdom fans. Even tho I am, I pass and hope someday someone makes a REAL MMo based on this setting.
