Infinity : Update Features Announced

Posted Jul 16, 2008 by Keith Cross

GameTribe has announced some of the features that will be included in the next update for Infinity Online, such as a new Roulette mode in the Colosseum and the new clan shop.

Gametribe.com is pleased to announce that the second update in July, version 0807b, for its action packed Free-to-Play MMORPG Infinity Online is now live.

The update features a huge addition to the amazing Colosseum in the shape of the all new Roulette mode.
In this brand new Colosseum Mission players can battle with up to 3 other players, kill monsters and collect amazing loot in the form of Luna Coins over successive rounds.

Other special features in the update include the brand new Clan Shop, only available to Clan Members the shop will be the only place you can get hold of special Clan only weapons, outfits and accessories for your character.  Remember these can only be bought with Silver Clan Medals so you’ll need to battle it out in the stunning Team Death Matches to get hold of these amazing items.

The new update will be available to players after the weekly Wednesday maintenance window.

Infinity Online is a frantic free-to-play multiplayer online game allowing thousands of players to download and play the game for free with no monthly subscriptions.  Enter the fray with your favorite warrior and guide your guards against other players or side by side with your friends in co-operative mode

This game has zero character development, why even bother to play it, or for that matter attempt to classify it as a MMO?

Here is one of the so called features of the game:

"8. No skills, experience or levels. "

Without the above, how can you develop your character.  Isn't that an essential part of being a MMO?  Isn't that one of the defining methods we use to distinguish between an FPS and a MMO?
