Wizard101 : Celebrating Two Great Years

Posted Sep 02, 2010 by Suzie Ford

KingsIsle is preparing to celebrate its second birthday with the launch of the new zone called Celestia. Celestia is set to launch a bit later this fall and a new quest will show up this month to get players prepared. Celestia will raise the level cap and introduce new spells and head under the sea for adventure.

To promote the launch of the new world, later this month KingsIsle will launch a quest featuring one of the hottest teen icons on the planet. The quest, which will introduce players to new underwater environments and preview features of the upcoming Celestia expansion, will be available to all players in the game.

I love this game as does my husband and my 8 year old. It's a terrific way for us to game together in an environment that we are comfortable in with our child....and it's really fun too. :) So...our personal family community and the millions of other players actually care. ;)

Wizard101 is a fun MMO for the whole family. The combat is dependent upon the cards that you draw from your deck and the type of monster you are fighting. This creates for more of a strategic battle rather than who can click the fastest. Deck building is the key to survival. I have played this since Beta and it one game that I have not gotten tired of.

They just take an INSANE amount of time to push new content and last year when they did it left all the level 50's holding their johnsons.  Most of us completed the new expansion grizzleheim in a day.

I warned them of this in Beta... but still... it is a 'good' game IMHO and does what it sets out to do.

Gratz KingsIsle.

I suppose if you are bored you could level your pets to Epic?
