Reason: Kynari is the name of the Race living here ... Tears/Waterfall/Godrays would represent the dispair and unrest because of the Civil War going on.

Tranquility's Downfall

Darkrane Forest used to be filled with peace and tranquility until traitorous Kynari Darkrane influenced the Lakian Army to declare war on his own race which looked like the downfall of the Kynari and their forest.

Tranquility's Downfall also represents the waterfall and how gorgeous it is.. Just looking at it puts you into a awe of serenity.

Crystal Darkrane Falls

No elaborate evocative reasoning.  Darkrane identifies the forest, and I chose Crystal to precede it because the sparkling water makes me think of gemstones and crystals shining in the light.

Freedom's Hold.

In this area a war was fought, lives were given in sacrifice for that freedom. In the end freedom was won. We can see the price of that freedom as there is a peacefulness and calm in this area held onto by the surrounding area.

Serenity Falls

Serenity would aptly describe the beautiful waterfall as well as the peaceful forest before the appearance of the Kynari Darkrane. Falls refers to the waterfall, though in more recent times, the name may be a reflection of the shattered tranquility of Darkrane.

Ranenymphs Refuge

Reason:

This name was given by the local inhabitants, who claim to have seen nymphs along the shore and near the waterside basking in the sunlight, while crossing the bridge you see in the background. The name was given in their belief that the nymphs came here in seek of refuge; not waning to be involved in the civil war, as well as escaping the many dangers of Darkrane Forest.

I would say: Kynari's Deceit

As to why: The Kynari are a beautiful race. But, as we will soon find out in the game; The Kynari race are not as beautiful on the inside as we would think. Probably because of Zereca's influence. But nevertheless, their beauty is deceitful as most of them will not hesitate to kill.

The beauty of the forest and the waterfalls are full of deceit as well, as it will be soon home to the bodies of the Aitan's and Lakia's citizens that will fall under the hands of the Kynari.

A little lore contribution to the game as to why as well:

Kynari's Deceit. A once peaceful place, created by they great Goddess Aika as a symbol for tranquility. A symbol that was soon destroyed by the Kynari a beautiful race created by Aika at first, to symbolize beauty and tranquility. But, like Aika's first creations, the Scinic. The Kynari soon grew restless of the peace. All of which happened in the same place. Thus earning the name: Kynari's Deceit.

Curtain of Falling Memories

The Watcher's Grotto, as the waterfall area is named in Taiwan, was a place populated by Nerines and various other stuff that you have to slaughter.  Unlike the prior Tapaeon (Tree of Gratitude) and the subsequent Salia Pond, you're not here to claim revenge for Isaiah's second son or aid the first son of the former Kynari high priest; you're here to meet your old friend - the formerly confidence-less - and now middle-rank - Amelia (and that Aitan from Tabazra that no one remembers or cares about).

Throughout the years, we all change; from a confidence-lacking Aitan to a middle-rank like the player, both Amelia and the player are surprised by what has transpired through the years of separation.  Over the death of many nerines, eyeballs, and other assorted anomalies, you and Amelia rekindle your friendship and reminiscence over the past, under the watchful whispers of the Cascade.  A scene is evanescent and an image easily a forgotten glimmer of the past, but a true friendship is a beautiful and ameliorating memory.

Looking upon the falling cascade, you feel as if you're reliving a pleasant memory of the past before all of this warfare and constant struggles.  A chat with an old friend beneath a beautiful scene; from here, you wonder just how many people have done the same, and how many happy memories the little grotto had witnessed.  Truly, the streams had flown and watched the sad pieces of war and betrayal - the betrayed Kynaris and the impatient ninth company that occupied the forest - but perhaps those figments would become pieces of the past, overshadowed by the happiness that pours into the lake.  Within the grotto and the marvelous waterfalls, there is only balance.

You wonder if, perhaps ironically, that High Priest Isaiah felt likewise when he named the place.

Pristine Descent

Descent, in this case, holds three meanings--the more obvious one being the actual descent of water from a higher to lower place, the second being a reference to Kynari history referencing the falls as the place where the first High Castor was instated (and thus all High Castors descend from that sacred event), and the third being the much more recent descent of Darkrane from good to evil. Eventually, Castor's Copse was established as a complimentary place of peace for the High Castors and the Kynari worshippers in order to limit the number of those who visit the falls as pilgrimage to their sacred site so as to preserve the beauty and tranquility of the falls area.

Pristine refers to two meanings—“having its original purity; uncorrupted or unsullied” and “of or pertaining to the earliest period or state.” The falls were originally named Malchi’s Descent, referring to the first High Castor Malachi, but in a show of respect for the highly revered name (the Kynari knew that any visitors would not be able to appreciate the meaning behind it and thus it would be tossed about carelessly), it was eventually given the common name and term Pristine. It is also a significant term as the falls are also representational to the Kynari as being the birthplace and thus a place for their earliest period of their current social structure.

It also serves as a balancing name to Ascension Gate.

Eternal Falls

- This is the once hallowed land of the Goddess, brought forth to provide safety and harmony to all the people of Lakia. For many centuries it has stood as a symbol of the eternal peace of Darkrane forest. But today, it is known as a place of great danger. All that is touched by these rippling waters grow dark, and it has become surrounded by dangerous creatures. Many brave Aitans have come forth and fought to regain control of the Eternal Falls, although few have made it out alive.

Just as eternal as the falls of these waters, will be the falls of the brave.

Today, this land is known as a final place of rest for the fallen.

Entry: Mossunbridge Falls

Reason: Well, it's obviously located at a waterfall, so logically, it should end in "Falls." The first part of the name though, I wanted to be creative but also to make it similar to the screenshot posted and background info. So, on the trees are moss, where the word comes into play, "moss" and there is a bridge in the background. So, "Moss Bridge." But, to "spice it up," I made it similar to the maps name, Darkrane. "Dark rain" would make me think of a dark cloud with heavy rain, in this case, a monsoon. So, I would come up with "Mossun Bridge Falls." Shortened it from two words to one word though, but could go either way.

Plus, there is the fact that it could be "Dar Krane" as in, a crane, as the Kynari are Half-man/Half-bird. Cranes were known to be an omen in Greek Mythology, which is possibly where it plays here with the Kynari. So, a "dark rain monsoon" can be an omen from the "Darkrane" as one of his plans to confuse with the inhabitants of Darkrane Forest, or even the Aitan.

Hope I make it in time, as the deadline was switched today. Good luck, everyone!~
