NCSoft has confirmed that it is 'restructuring key operations" within the company that will include a round of layoffs across all Western propertiess, including Carbine Studios, developers of WildStar. This does not, however, include ArenaNet, developers of Guild Wars 2.

At this past weekend's Final Fantasy XIV fan festival in Las Vegas, Square Enix announced that the first major expansion for the game, Heavensward, will be arriving in 2015. The expansion will bring airships and a new race into the game.

The Banner Saga gets its title from banners that groups of people in the game (villages, tribes, etc.) use to record their history. Every time a major event happens, such as someone being born, someone dying, a great boon, or a disaster, the story gets woven into the fabric of the banner.
