TVLine.com has confirmed via Twitter that the Syfy original show, Defiance, has been cancelled after only three seasons. This is of particular note to MMO fans due to Trion Worlds' tie-in game. The future of the game is in question, of course, and we have reached out to Trion for a comment.

MMOCulture is reporting that Nexon has ordered the immediate sale of all its shares of NCSoft. The partnership between the two began in 2012 when Nexon became the largest NCSoft shareholder. The reason for the sale is cited as "no significant synergies have been realized between the two parties".

The Legend of Legacy is a JRPG developed by FuRyu that serves as a spiritual successor to the SaGa series. You'll start off by choosing which adventure of the 7 available to begin your journey as. The other 6 that you do not initially select will quickly become available for you to assemble as part of your group early in the game. The character you start with will be a permanent fixture in your party but you can constantly revolve the supporting cast so don't fret too much over which character you begin with.

It seems that the hopes of thousands of European and North American fans of Black Desert have just come true with the announcement that the alpha for the westernized version of the game is going to be starting soon.

This will ruffle some feathers. The staff at MMORPG.com, from President Craig McGregor and CTO Ben Krueger, to our wonderful list of reviewers, columnists, and community managers, all the way down to your humble and lowly Managing Editor (me) have voted. We took the top player-rated games from our Game List, including those that have been closed after launch, and we ranked them. Each of us filing up our own top 35 list from greatest to least great. Why 35? I think you'll all agree that while we might have 800+ games on our list, not all of them are MMOs, and not all of them are very good.
