The World of Warcraft team took center stage at this year's Blizzcon to announce that Legion, the game's next expansion, will launch in the summer of 2016. It had been rumored that Legion would release "on or before September 21, 2016", the official calendar end of summer.

While Blizzard is staying mum on the subject pending tomorrow's Blizzcon start, GameStop (via Game Informer) is reporting that Overwatch will not be free to play but will be released on XBox One, PlayStation 4 and PC for $60.

When Divinity released in 2014, I was caught more than a little bit off guard. Up to that point in my gaming career, I'd had very little experience with classic PC RPGs, having only heard stories about the likes of Baldur's Gate and Planescape: Torment. When Original Sin entered the zeitgeist, I jumped in with nary an inkling about the love affair I would soon fall into.

Aiming for a 2017 release, Sean Daniel Company of The Mummy franchise fame and Studio Platige Films have announced that a live action feature film is in the initial planning stages. The project already has an Oscar nominated director, Tomasz Baginski, and Thania St. John, known for her work on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, working as a writer.

The Demon Hunter is World of Warcraft's new Hero Class coming with the Legion expansion sometime in the summer of 2016 (here's hoping sooner rather than later). At BlizzCon 2015, we got our hands on the new class and played through its introductory zone, Mardum - The Shattered Abyss.
