The Guild Wars 2 site has been update with a brand new blog post that is sure to set the community buzzing with the revelation of the Mesmer's Elite Specialization, the Chronomancer. As the name implies, Mesmers will gain some awesome new ways to manipulate time in both constructive and destructive ways.

The latest Star Wars: The Old Republic update, Rise of the Emperor, will see players continuing the battle against Revan. The story will give players a chance to confront the Sith Emperor; join forces with Lana Beniko, Minister of Sith Intelligence and Theron Shan, a Galactic Republic spy; and will be able to explore Ziost, the "Gateway to the Empire" in a state of chaos. The Elder Scrolls Online is coming to console in just over a month. With the console beta already in progress, and players sharing their experiences with the game in various places around the internet, as a PC player, several few patterns stand out and make me wonder if the console versions will be the definitive version of ESO, and if this game just might be a breakthrough for MMORPGs on console overall.

We didn't think we'd be reviewing Pathfinder Online anytime soon... until we discovered the game is both a.) taking money and b.) done wiping progress. As mentioned many times here, that's all we need to consider a game ready to be reviewed. Firefall is an upcoming free-to-play MMOFPS from Red 5 Studios, with highly stylized artwork and an emphasis on tactical combat. The game sets players in a world torn apart by the Melding, an energy storm that has spawned monsters called the Chosen. Players must now band together to collect resources, build weapons and vehicles, and utilize special nanotechnology armor suits called Battleframes to fight against the Chosen and reclaim the earth.
