At least a pair of Twitter posts are reporting that Wizard101 and Pirate101 studio KingsIsle is undergoing 'massive layoffs'. While unconfirmed at this time, we have reached out to sources at KingsIsle to find out more.

Tree of Savior NA / EU will be launching its free-to-play version after maintenance today. In addition, the brand new SEA server, Varena, will be opening as well. The team will be monitoring incoming players to determine if any new servers will need to be added to the currently existing ones.

For the past eight weeks, I've been playing Tree of Savior while also tending to my day job with our Philippine elections coverage for the news organization I work with. Needless to say, it's been a very fruitful two months for both this job and the other one, but with all that time spent came a pang of guilt at not being able to truly face everything Tree of Savior had to offer.
