The team over at Ankama announced on December 2nd that that they had launched Dofus 2.0, a substantial update to the previous 1.29 version of the game. For players who might not want to take part in the new version, 1.29 is still available.

On November 30th, CCP launched their most recent expansion for their sci-fi MMORPG, EVE Online. This newest expansion adds significantly to the game, both in terms of features and gameplay.

Star Trek Online: Bridge Crews Interview's Dana Massey recently traveled to Cryptic Studios for some hands on and interview time with their upcoming major IP MMO, Star Trek Online. While there, he got the scoop on NPC bridge crews. Check out the following excerpt:

At launch, the Bridge is going to be pretty simple. Each time the player earns a new ship, they get to select from a group of prefabricated bridge areas. The team is close to launch and they didn't want to bite off more than they could chew.

This week's Game of the Week is Bioware's upcoming MMORPG, Star Wars: The Old Republic, and why not? After all, the upcoming Star Wars MMO (the second, historically), is one of the most talked about upcoming games not only within the MMO genre, but in all of gaming.

With Bioware's reputation as a first class developer of single player RPGs, many video gamers find themselves wondering how the company will handle the challenge presented in the realm of multiplayer games.

Last week was a busy week for us here at in following this game as our own Dana Massey traveled to the Star Wars studios and came back with a hands on preview including information on the Jedi Consular and Sith inquisitor classes.
