Dragon Oath Review reviewer and columnist Jaime Skelton writes this look at ChangYou's F2P MMORPG, Dragon Oath.

Dragon Oath is not the most unique free-to-play in the market. The graphical experience won't stun you, and the kung-fu movie sound effects may wear you out after a while.

Why You Like What You Like's Justin Webb uses his column this week to talk about the history of RPGs and why it is what we individually like what it is that we like.

In this article I'm going to explain why you like what you like. You're going to end up being either "cool" or "hot" (or maybe even "tepid"). You'll have your own gaming thermometer. I'll explain why you might love UO yet hate WoW. I'll talk about the "play me" and "show me" Ages of RPGs. Along the way, I'm also going to mention Marshall McLuhan and Woody Allen. You'll then get to poke fun of me in the forums. And I'm going to try and explain it all in about a thousand words or less.

This week's Game of the Week goes to the game named's 2009 Most Improved MMO, Age of Conan.

Being named Most Improved MMO can be a double edged sword. On the one hand, it implies that the game was somehow flawed before, while on the other, it says that the game developers have worked hard to make the game better.

Both of these statements are true of Funcom's Conan as it moved from a rocky start to the point where the game's first expansion, Rise of the Godslayer, is beginning to build momentum.

As the new expansion moves closer and closer to launch, Funcom is letting more and more information slip out to the public. This past week, Funcom revealed that the expansion will be hitting stores sooner than most of us thought: May 11th!
