The frog-like Hylek will be the stars of this week's Guild Wars 2 Points of Interest. Game Designer Andy McLeod and Content Designer Matthew Medina will join the show to talk about the Hylek, their design and how they will be a force in Heart of Thorns. In addition, Hugh Norfolk will be on hand for the latest lesson in the PvP 101 series.

The announcement of the stronghold game type was really exciting, and it was a real treat to give it a try during the beta yesterday. Twitch was also busy with several great casters showing off this brand new SPvP play type, and rightfully so! Stronghold has turned out amazing, and may be my new favorite thing to play in Guild Wars 2.

The Skyforge team has just posted notification that the next closed beta event will kick off on Wednesday, April 22nd. A new round of beta invites is scheduled to be sent out as well to broaden the tester pool so keep an eye on your mailbox.

Borderlands is one of those games that's just begging for a full-on MMO treatment. I don't know if we'll ever get one, but hey at least China will. Essentially Diablo with guns, and showcasing enough character and class to deserve its own Telltale Games adventure series, Borderlands has been played and replayed by many of us here at since the first game was released years ago. The Handsome Collection takes all of Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, along with every last bit of DLC, and wraps it into one neat package for the PS4 and Xbox One. Sadly, there doesn't seem to be a plan to bring the collection to the PC, but considering how cheap the two games often are on Steam, and how many people have already bought them both... it kind of makes sense.
