Perfect World Entertainment has released its Quarter 4 2013 financial statements and, according to a report at GamesIndustry.biz, revenue rose 11% over the same time period the preceding year. Much of the increase in revenue came from the soft launch of DOTA2 in China where PWE will be handling the title. In addition, PWE's first mobile title, Return of the Condor Heroes, did very well and contributed significantly to the rise in profits.
"DOTA2 is currently at the initial stage of commercialisation and we expect to have a large-scale full launch in China soon," Xiao said. "Neverwinter, another world-class title that has already generated wide excitement among gamers in the U.S. and Europe, is gearing up for launch in China later this year."
