NCSoft has published its Q2 2017 earnings report that shows a huge increase in mobile games revenue and a fairly significant across-the-board drop in revenue generation for PC games. Lineage M is the juggernaut that drove profits up by approximately 8%, an increase both year over year and quarter over quarter.

Lineage, Lineage II, Aion, Blade and Soul and Guild Wars 2 all generated significantly less income this quarter over Q1 2017. Lineage had a steep decline "because of less promotions and some user attrition from stronger-than-expected Lineage M success".

Regionally, Korea had the strongest quarter over quarter growth with other regions remaining relatively static.

According to Korean site, ThisisGame.com, NCSoft will be bringing Blade & Soul to consoles in North America. There is no specific information about which consoles, just that it is coming in this region.

NCSoft expects that mobile revenue will continue to increase with bigger profits set to be realized in Q3 2017.

Thanks for the tip, Greme!
