The Neverwinter blog has been updated with a look at how the campaign will unfold during the Storm King's Thunder expansion. The campaign takes place in Bryn Shander with players tasked to rescue the besieged denizens of the area.
The campaign itself is broken into three parts, Bryn Shander, Lonelywood and Cold Run, each one unlocking the next. Each unlocked zone features its own monsters and regional 'flavor'. During the campaign, players can also unlock useful items in the campaign store and a repeatable job to help get the townsfolk back on their feet.
Boons will also become available during the campaign, the earliest providing stat boosts, the later ones giving damage-dealing and healing boons.
Finally, progressing through the story campaign ultimately leads to the Fangbreaker Island dungeon, a place featuring the hardest content of the expansion.
