Xsyon: The Grand Cart Race Event Announced
Xsyon devs have announced a new event that will shine the spotlight on the just-introduced cart system. Called the Grand Cart Race Event, players will either use a cart of their own creation or a borrowed one for those still lacking the materials needed to construct a cart. At the start of the event, players will be transported to the start for a grand cart racing spectacle on a GM created course.
The event is scheduled for 12:00 PST on Sunday, January 29th.

i even forgot that i bought this game ...
I own it but haven't played since launch. Wonder if it is worth going back too? I don't think there is a large population on the server.
Better have some damn Mario Kart music playing in the background when they begin the race. Only music worthy of being played while Kart racing.
I remember running out of stamina in this game, or was that just when you jumped?
Yeah when you sprint, you run out of stamina too. Not sure if that's in the game still, used to be.
It's funny, I actually tried to patch the game yesterday, thought about maybe resubbing. Hadn't played in a while so I needed 2.0gb patched apparently...their patcher only downloads at around 150 kb/s...wonderful when I have a 24 mb/s connection...Maybe another time Xsyon.
a while ago they were having issues with their subs and I only paid for the game and the free month but still had an active account. DL'ed the game, which took forever. Noticed tribes clained some spots, ran around and remembered why i left in the first place.
actually i get a 1mbps download speed from xsyon, and the *active subs* are gone now, to play xsyon you have to pay a month sub now as theirs a new account system in, Also Totem decay will be in with in 1-2 weeks, Then notices go out for 2 weeks free game time. Totem decay will have stages and on the 2nd to last stage Zombies will spawn, they can loot you and kill you, as u can to them. Decay may take up to 4-6 weeks, but its undecided atm. Theirs alot of stuff thats been added ingame and the population has been rising in the past weeks. So before ya diss the game atleast come check out the new stuff :-)
So you gave up of downloading mere 2gb because you was getting 150kb/s?
Man that would have taken only about 2 hours maybe?
