Troy Online: Ending Service for a Time |
Alt1 Games has announced that November 30th will mark the end of 3-month old Troy Online. The team has posted a refund guide for players seeking to have funds spent reallocated to their bank accounts.
According to the post on the Troy Online forum, the game was released with too many bugs and errors. As a result, Troy Online is being shut down and will be reworked with a future re-release planned at an unspecified date.

Yah, never saw that one coming.
These stupid game companies need to stop releasing before their game is ready.
They just want that Skrilla!
This is progress. Lots of games recognizing people wont pay for them, so theyre either giving it away or shutting down. Heres hoping for more failure.
welcome to the world of f2p. where the F means failure for most of them. 90% of the non aaa f2p are just vaporware that are not expected to lieve more then a year or two at most, especially the korean ones.
When things dying down, they'll just re-use same enging spend 3months doing some content and change a couple things then re-release it under another name go into open beta for a year while they keep adding stuff but milk their customer with the cash shop. Then after a year release, and then 6 months after close down, rinse and repeat. Latest exemple Eden Eternal or whatever that game called
True and when they do release game at acceptable quality level they should ADVERTISE their game. Never heard so never tried.
And another one folds. Developers are going to have to realize this genre has gotten far too crowded to put up with mediocre fair.
