Tibia: Coming to a Browser Near You
CipSoft has announced that its classic MMORPG, Tibia, will have a browser version released near the end of April. Tibia has been in live release since 1997. The Flash-enabled version of Tibia will bring the game to a whole new generation of players.
Tibia is a classical 2D fantasy MMORPG. It has been released as early as 1997 and therefore ranks among the first - and still online – MMORPGs in the world.1 Tibia’s very unique and classy graphics, in combination with a tactically demanding and tense playing atmosphere create a highly addictive game experience.
Tibia grants a unique freedom to its players and their preferred playing styles. It’s the players’choice and influence that decides where the game and its inhabitants are heading - towards a cooperative, mercantile and explorative society or towards a bunch of martial, competitive and aggressive warmongers.

when this happens i may just have to dust off the old account and give it another go due to Rifts Recent blow out for me.
UO and Tibia were my first experiences with mmorpg's (Well I think they were for most of us who happened to be the first gen of geeks creating words like "pwnz" and "Roxxor")
I'll be playing assuredly I've missed that style of gaming and I am LOVING flash dev into the mmo market.
same here UO and tibia were my first date into the mmo world. I might just make a new account and play it again
Drakkor was actualy my first before alot of peoipe played rpg's online. Then UO came along and pretty much set the standard from then on. I didn't get too much into Tibia but had fun playing it. I think my char is still stuck in a hole forever if memory serves me correctly.
