Neo Steam was a steampunk MMORPG from HanbitSoft and Atlus Online. The storyline concerned the eponymous Neo Steam, an ancient and powerful resource. The game's features included 3D steampunk anime-styled graphics, a host of machine designs, a pet system, and various steam-powered transportation options, adding to the immersive atmosphere. Players could choose between the two nations of the Kingdom of Elerd and the Republic of Rogwel, and pick from several different races and the four classes of warrior, mystic, machinist, and scout. Character advancement was pretty straightforward and traditional, though there were multiple PvP modes as well as many skills to master. Neo Steam was free-to-play and had an optional item shop. The game was shut down in February of 2012.
