Myth War Online was a free-to-play, 2D fantasy MMORPG from Unigium and IGG that took place in a land of many unusual creatures. Gameplay was inspired by older RPGs and included many classic elements like an Active Time Battle system similar to the combat systems found in the Final Fantasy series.
Myth War Online offered several features including "Rumor System" missions, for which the aim was to get NPCs to talk about players, and the Master and Apprentice system that allowed higher level players to play with lower-level ones. The game had four character races available, including Humans, Centaurs, Mages, and Borgs. It also had a pet system which allowed pets to fight alongside players. Myth War Online has since made way for its successor in the franchise, Myth War 2.
