Drakengard 3 Overview
Drakengard 3 is a new entry in the Drakengard series of fantasy action RPGs. Although it is the third game in the series to be produced, chronologically, the game is a prequel to the original Drakengard. The game is also tied to the Drakengard spinoff, Nier.
Drakengard 3 follows the protagonist Zero, a woman with a flower growing from her eye who has been chosen as one of the Intoners, the force of sisters that is to bring down the world. The player must help her, along with her dragon, Michael, fight back to let the Watchers win back the realm. The series’ hack and slash roots are apparent in the new installment, as Zero’s swordplay will carry her through her quest.
