and no, i'm not looking for a staff comment telling me how they've done nothing out of the ordinary, or nothing wrong, or they are just doing the right thing. i can be pretty sensitive about stuff people post (racist, sexist, homophobic stuff, stuff that actually counts morally) and even i think its getting out of hand.

i spose the problem is, i went from being a pretty tame poster to regularly wondering how far i can push the rules. its stupid, but really, this kind of inane stupidity just makes people want to break the rules. i went from a multiyear account with not a single warning to being edited and warned for making a silly troll comment [mod edit]

I haven't gotten a warning in over a month!

I miss the old off-topic, where it really was loosly moderated and only certain things (blatant racism etc) were off limits.
