I would have to ask, did the girl in the photo mind?
God forbid people act human anymore.
I don't get your angle. Are you saying "acting human" is being able to laugh at a double-entendre, or trying to identify with the inner workings of fashion model?
It means that OMG, what a shock, we generally find apeal in the oposite sex.
It means not spending our lives worried that we might offend some other group who thinks that the world should function based on the direction of their moral compass.
It means we're not perfect.
It means that we have senses of humor that vary from individual to individual.
It means that it's normal for me to notice a girls rear, I'm a guy, and as a general rule that's normal "human" behavior.
It means that when a woman takes a job were she's expected to "look pretty" to promote something it shouldn't be condemned as sexist; especially when they weren't forced to take the job. Did you read the article? It was more about "booth babes" and how it's sexist to hire attractive woman to promote things then it was about Asus' comment.
Believe it or not, companies do hire men to do the exact same thing. When was the last time you saw it called sexist?
I photographed a car show once. Not a single one of the girls who were modelling by some of the cars in bikinis complained about it. In fact, everyone of them that I actually talked to enjoyed it. Many of them even came to me, to have their picture taken, in their bikinis. Most of the posses they gave me, wouldn't be suitable for any general publcation, and I never told them how to pose.
I know woman that do this for a living. I can tell you very confidently that if they minded being noticed in that way, they wouldn't be doing it.
It wouldn't be "normal" human behavior if we didn't notice the girl in the slinky dress modelling a product. She knows, like everyone else, that's why she's there.
What do you think a predominatly male attendance is going to notice from 50 ft away? The tiny laptop on the table, or the hot chick standing next to it?
