What about a game like Vindictus also. Not quite a mmorpg but I've heard it's quite fun.

Try Everquest , Its Free now and tons to do in it.  EQ don't require high system specs ether.  can get a  little tuff once you get higher up, but its fun, but if you need eye candy, Try EQ 2 or DDO (Dungeons and Dragons online). both decent free games to.

alright thanks guy ill run all these by tha fam and se  if they want to stick to rohan or somthing

What about Anarchy Online? It's an old game and free to play with a few restrictions... shouldn't be too hardware intensive. I think you can get up to level 200 and might even include the first expansion. That would give you guys a pretty long time to play.

       Im pretty sure Alganon is p2p after level 30.....Also when I played it I never saw another player ever lol..... Runes of Magic does seem like a good fit and there is a browser version of it now so you dont have to download it ..... DDO might not be a bad option either.....Ryzom is a good game but its very different and geared more towards crafting and harvesting.

GW2 when it comes out. Its not p2p, its b2p (buy to play) = one time payment for "eternal" gameplay.
