Images can be used for your signature (the pictures everyone has on the bottom of their posts). Just insert the image in standard BBML like you would inside a post.

For those of us not familiar with "standard BBML", can you please show us the exact string to use?

as in [IMG]insert_my_photo_url_or_whatever[IMG}

I can't get my simple animated GIF to show no matter what kind of tag i use. Thanks in advance.

By the way your Animated GIF is showing just fine. :)

And yes, it is the [img] tags for images.

You just made a small error. Should read:

[IMG]http://cbg.nohomers.net/images/worstep.gif[\IMG]

Need that slash at the end.

You need to reverse the slash at the end [IMG] tag...    put a /   not a  \  before IMG

When useing tags you always  close the end tag with a /      so   if it was A you put /A at end inside the brackets.  IMG  needs  /IMG  to show that its closed.

Try this:

[IMG]http://www.btutopia.com/bbs/UploadFile/200472512383561053.jpg[/IMG]

file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Owner/My%20Documents/test.JPG

Doesnt work man :p unless everyone happens to have that file there that is ^^

You need to put the files online somewhere, im no good at free sites that provide image space for peeps, ive had this free homestead account for 8 years and havent had any problems yet :) But i think you haveto pay nowadays...
