Guild Wars have released their newest "Guild of the Week" profile. This week's selection, known as Awoken Myth (MYTH), enjoys PvP play and especially enjoys crusing their enemies in Guild vs Guild play... With their 15 members, I don't think I'd want to run into these guys alone at night!

Awoken Myth [MYTH] was formed in October of 2004 during the Guild Wars World Preview Event. Founding members had met previously in various MMO games, and Guild Wars was seen as the perfect opportunity for them to start their own guild. Awoken Myth is a guild focused on Player-vs-Player combat, however they also have a closely allied guild named Forgotten Myth that caters to players who prefer cooperative gaming, or are new to Guild Wars. All of MYTH's fifteen current members are Slovenian, though the guild is looking to expand their membership beyond Slovenia. Several of their members know each other outside of gaming, and this has resulted in a tightly woven group of players who enjoy gaming together and competing in PvP. Awoken Myth is currently taking part in the Electronic Sports League Guild Wars Opening Cup. Awoken Myth primarily plays in Guild-vs-Guild matches. The Team Arena is commonly used to test new combinations of skills and professions, before moving into the Tomb of the Primeval Kings for more advanced testing. The Tombs maps are also used as a place for guild teams to relax, using builds made on the spot. |
