Hi-Rez Studios and the Global Agenda team have produced a very short but intriguing trailer to give a sneak peek at what's coming in v1.4 when it goes live later this month. The trailer features a voice over warning the character that something is coming and coming fast. It ends with a door bursting inward and...well, you just have to watch for yourself.

The Global Agenda team has announced a new contest for players to create 'training' videos. Players are challenged to show how they accomplish the game's most difficult missions etc.

Hi-Rez Studios has announced that its flagship title, Global Agenda, is going free to play with the mid-April update. Called 'free agent' mode, the new model will give access to all areas and up to level 50. For $19.99, players can upgrade to 'elite status' which allows for faster leveling, gear acquisition, currency and other priority features. In addition to the F2P model, players will have the Dome Defense Raid content to look forward to with the update.

The Global Agenda dev team has announced a new Jungle Assault mission coming in patch 4.1. The new content takes place in a new beautiful oasis called Elf Lo'cart. Players will have to investigate mysterious energies emanating from the lush tropical jungle.

Hi-Rez Studios has announced that 100% of the weekend sales proceeds for Global Agenda will be donated to the Red Cross to assist with its relief efforts in devastated Northern Japan. Hi-Rez Studios has released its first video Q&A with Executive Producer Todd Harris and other members of the Global Agenda dev team. The questions covered came directly from the community and the team promises that this is the first in a continuing series. The team talks about new hats, device improvements and a few silly things just for fun.

Hi-Rez Studios and the Global Agenda team have announced the start of the 12 Drops of Christmas. There is a new teaser site with nifty holiday music and a calendar with lots of mysterious question marks as to what the items may actually be! Today's happens to be winning 5 Breach PvP matches to win a cold turkey.

Global Agenda will be patched to v1.39 today in a free upgrade for all players. The new patch will bring several new features online including four new maps, new rare PvP rewards including a new jetpack prototype, enhancements to the /challenge function, updates to Dome City and new seasonal flair that you can earn during the Holiday event coming to Global Agenda later this month.

The Global Agenda team will be logging in tonight from 8-10 p.m. EST testing their skills within a Global Agenda PvP Pre-Season Tournament. The tournament has been arranged via AgendaStats.com. The recent 1.38 update to Global Agenda introduced a Challenge feature. Using this feature, ready-made teams can fight each nother on a map of their choosing. Players participating in the event will receive an in game "Horus" mask.

Global Agenda developer, Hi-Rez Studios, has announced that it is now the proud owner of the Tribes Universe franchise after completing a purchase of the IP from GarageGames. Hi-Rez has two teams working: One to continue development of Global Agenda and one to begin working on Tribes Universe. Alpha testing of Tribes Universe is slated to begin in early 2011 and GA players of level 50 will have priority for inclusion.

The Global Agenda team has announced new Halloween events and a series of (lucky) thirteen masks available from now through the end of November. The masks will randomly drop from bots during the Halloween mission and will range in quality from 'uncommon' to 'epic'.
